Hey coffee lovers! We’re glad you’ve found us.
This is the story of how we, Tom & Kat, started Stay High Coffee Roasters.
Our background
Back in 2016, we met in London and instantly bonded over our shared love of coffee. We both dreamed of owning our own place, but then we thought, 'Hey, why not roast our own beans?' By 2022, Tom was a seasoned roaster, and Kat had mastered the art of cafe management. In February 2023, we finally took the plunge and launched Stay High Coffee Roasters, turning our coffee dreams into a reality.
Our values
We believe coffee should be good for your soul, not just your taste buds. That's why we prioritize ethical sourcing and sustainability (link). We know you care where your coffee comes from, and we do too. We launched the Replanting Farms (link) project in Guatemala to give back. Every time you grab a bag of our Guatemalan beans, you're directly helping us plant two new coffee trees, so you can enjoy that delicious coffee knowing you're making a positive impact on the planet.
Approach to roasting
Most of our beans are roasted to a light to medium roast profile, which creates sweet, full-bodied and balanced acidity coffees in a cup. Our coffees are incredibly versatile - they work well with various brewing methods, from pour over and french press to espresso.We are however able to roast according to your preference for wholesale and all your white label requirements.
So far, so good
We’re happy to report that everything seems to be going well! We’ve participated at the London Coffee Festival in partnership with amazing people from Wild Oats and also at Caffe Culture alongside our great green coffee importers Unic Coffee. We were featured on Gustatory, Just Bru and Brewed Online subscriptions. We launched our very own drip bags, among the first UK coffee roasters to do so, which we are very proud of. However, the biggest success for us is that we have recurring online customers - thank you!
